Hear My Heart Out | 02

I’ll give you a heads up, this post is long overdue. I have drafted this post around May 2020 and meant to post this, I promise – but I just was so hesitant that I couldn’t post it. But here I am trying to finish and actually posting it.

It’s been so long since I shared something relationship-wise, an update of the series I did— “Hear My Heart Out”, which was first released two years ago.

And honestly, I didn’t thought that the series will have a follow-up. But hey, this is good and something I want to remember.

Reasons I Am Thankful For My Long Distance Relationship

Being in a long distance relationship is not easy. I know, I’ve been to two long distance relationships and currently in a long distance relationship AGAIN. You might wonder, have I not learned anything from my past relationships? Oh honey, I have learned a LOT.

Warmth of a First Kiss

Trembling knees

Sweaty palm

That’s what I felt

When you lean for a kiss.

Unsure thoughts

Unanswered questions

Is this real?

Has it been real?

I can’t fathom the idea of love

As you slowly lean over

Starts to stare in my eye

Heart beats faster.

It’s more than a thousand butterflies

More than how a child’s sweet happiness

Time starts to tick,

Unexplainable feeling.

As I close my eyes

And remembered how it all started

The warmth of your touch

And the warmth of a first kiss
