Christmas is one of my favorite holidays! Especially when you are in The Philippines. Celebrating Christmas here in the US is really different from what I am used to, but it is still special knowing that I get to celebrate Christmas with my parents.
It makes me feel nostalgia and remember our Christmas celebration in the Philippines back in 2016.
On the third day of Blogmas, I decided to do a Christmas Tag inspired by Little White Socks, view hers here: LINK.
What is your favorite Christmas Movies? I am not a Hallmark movies fan and I’ve only watched few Christmas themed movies. Few of my favorites are: Home Alone 1 and 2, Love Actually, The Princess Switch 1. I am still trying to finish Dr. Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Grinch.
Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? It depends honestly, if I’m too excited I will beg for my parents to open one of my gift on the 23rd. But most of the time we do them after Christmas Eve dinner. And on the 25th, we always try to hear a mass.
Have you ever had a White Christmas? Almost nine years of being here in the US, I haven’t experienced White Christmas. I am hoping to experience one someday.
Can you name all Santa’s reindeers? I only know Rudolph. Haha
Be honest: Do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better? Giving gifts. There is something pure, refreshing and pinch in my heart whenever I gift something to people I love. Even though I won’t get anything back, it’s always something special seeing them grateful and happy.
What would be your dream place to visit this holiday season? New York will always be a dream place for me, whether it is Christmas or normal days. And even if we’ve been to the city multiple times. Next is the Philippines, it is always nice to celebrate festivities and Christmas back home. And last, is Vatican City. I want to hear mass with the pope on Christmas morning.
Do you make new year’s resolution? Do you stick to them? I can’t remember when I did a resolution and when was the last time I followed those resolutions. So no.
What’s the best part about Christmas for you? Best part is family and friends. Celebrating the holidays with a peace of mind, love and happiness.
